The Florida Division of Tourism will remove its ads from 60 outdoor boards in downtown Atlanta as part of an agreement with the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games. ACOG had protested Florida's $261,000 campaign themed "Our Summer Games," as unfairly hitchhiking on the Summer Olympics in Atlanta. The campaign also included radio and a supplement in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution
. As part of the agreement, the print inserts will continue through July 28; the radio flight ended last month. The boards were scheduled to come down May 31. Falhgren-Benito, Tampa, is the agency.
