Forbes hires agency for presidential race

Published on .

Republican presidential hopeful Steve Forbes today announced the hiring of William Eisner Associates, Hales Corner, Wis., as the agency for his White House bid. The agency did a Wisconsin campaign for the U.S. Senate last year that included some tongue-in-cheek humor. The Forbes campaign hinted that the humor would be a part of its advertising this time. "They bring a unique style of brand development to the political arena," said Forbes 2000 campaign manager Bill Dal Col in a statement. "The work we see coming out of the Eisner agency was different, insightful and compelling." The Forbes campaign said Mr. Eisner would be working with GOP strategist R.J. Johnson on advertising.
