Forbes.com names Spanfeller CEO

Jim Spanfeller was named CEO of Forbes.com and the newly created position of executive vice president of electronic publishing for Forbes' publishing portfolio. As CEO, he replaces Jeff Killeen, who stepped down from his CEO duties but remains on Forbes' board of directors. Mr. Spanfeller, 44, was president of Ziff Davis Media's Consumer Magazine Group, a position from which he resigned abruptly on Sept. 7 after which Ziff Davis reorganized its magazine portfolio.
