Ford Motor Co., Dearborn, Mich., next month revives the commercial featuring all seven of its auto brands. Ford made a major media splash with its global TV "roadblock'' buy Nov. 1 that continued through that month. A 60-second version of the original 2-minute spot returns in the U.S. Jan. 1 and will run for several weeks on broadcast and cable networks. It breaks Jan. 4 on ESPN outside the U.S. J. Walter Thompson USA, Detroit, created the commercial. Ford said the first flight cost more than $10 million.
