Ford Motor Co.'s Ford Division, Dearborn, Mich., on March 9 launches the all-new F-150 SuperCrew pickup in a TV campaign breaking on NBC. J. Walter Thompson USa, Detroit, uses real-life work crews in the advertising; the first spot shows firfighters at a burning building. Print ads arrive in April books. One headline says, "The crew has arrived." Ford continues using news photographers for the print ads, an tack started last fall for its other pickups.
