Ford ads target Hispanic women

Ford Motor Co.'s Ford Division, Dearborn, Mich., is promoting a breast cancer self-examination program to Hispanic women via a new multi-media advertising campaign breaking later this month. Spanish-language talk show host Cristina Saralegui volunteered to appear in 30-second TV and radio spots sponsored by Ford. The car marketer's Hispanic agency, Zubi Advertising, Coral Gables, Fla., handled. The TV commercial will air on Univision. Radio ads will air in five markets. Print ads will run in 10 Hispanic books from October through December.
