Ford debuts bike in Vietnam

Published on .

Ford Motor Co., Dearborn, Mich., unveiled an electric-power, six-speed bicycle specifically designed for the Vietnamese market. The bike, called the e.go, is the first product aimed at Vietnamese consumers by Ford's TH!NK division, which was set up to provide environmentally friendly and innovative transportation. J. Walter Thompson Co. Vietnam will handle the e.go account, though Ford Vietnam said it has no plans to devise an ad strategy until the pilot period is completed in December.
