Ford Motor Co., Dearborn, Mich., is forming a joint venture with Ha-Lo Industries, Niles, Ill., to market branded merchandise for its global vehicle brands, including Ford, Lincoln, Jaguar and Volvo. Ford will be majority partner in a new, yet-to-named company the two will form. Linden Nelson, vice chairman of Ha-Lo, will be CEO of the venture. Ha-Lo said it plans to use the Internet to expand Ford's current roster of more than 400 licensees that make more than 12,500 products.
