Ford, Harley ride together

Published on .

Ford Motor Co., Dearborn, Mich., formed a five-year alliance with Harley-Davidson, Milwaukee, including marketing and technical ventures. The first manifestation will be Ford's sponsorship of the motorcycle company's Super-bike racing program, starting March 6. Ford's oval will appear on Harley's racing cycle. The two marketers will join forces for centennial promotions in 2003--the 100th anniversary of both companies.
