Ben Lever has been named executive director-worldwide market research, a new position created by Ford Motor Co.
, Dearborn, Mich., as it globalizes its operations. Mr. Lever, who had been general marketing manager at Lincoln-Mercury division, will be responsible for coordinating and standardizing Ford's market research in all the countries that it markets vehicles. At Lincoln-Mercury, Mr. Lever is being replaced by Carl Bergman, formerly director-sales and marketing for Ford's commercial trucks.
