Ford Motor Co., Dearborn, Mich., quietly consolidated its advertising in Japan at Dentsu, Tokyo. The business had been split among Dentsu, J. Walter Thompson Co. and Ogilvy & Mather. Spending was not disclosed. The decision was made last month following a review. New ads from Dentsu could break this fall in Japanese markets. Ford said it will retain unspecified business ties with JWT
and O&M in Japan.
