Ford Motor Co.'s massive Ford Automotive Products Operations unit will be renamed Visteon in an attempt to increase non-Ford auto industry sales. Ford will reveal Visteon's logo, marketing strategy and organization in Germany tomorrow at the Frankfurt Motor Show. APO was created in 1996 via a consolidation of four major Ford units. Young & Rubicam won the larger APO account in January; the Detroit office manages the account globally.
