Ford Motor Co., Dearborn, Mich., is the first marketer to take one of four sponsorships of CNN's 24-hour documentary "Cold War," airing next September through April 1999. Ford also gets a partial sponsorship of the series' Web site
, plus mentions in promo ads on Turner Broadcasting networks and in print advertising. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
