Ford Motor Co. named Francisco Codina, 49, general marketing manager of Ford Division, Dearborn, Mich., from president Ford Argentina. He joined Ford in 1977 and is credited with establishing brand management in Argentina and Mexico as marketing director of customer service from December 1994 to March 1997. He succeeds George Murphy, who left Ford after 18 months to join Chrysler Group as senior vice president-global brand marketing for Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler.
