Ford to update site

Published on .

As part of its 1999-model launches, Ford Motor Co.'s Ford Division updates its Web site at www.ford.com, effective Oct. 1. J. Walter Thompson, Detroit, also created banner ads for other sites. The Mustang area of Ford's site and banner ads on other sites offer a give-away of a new pony car in the Web-only sweepstakes. Ford's Mustang section reveals tidbits of the car's 35-year heritage. Visitors can also print out a Mustang image that can be cut and tabbed together to form a three-dimensional version of the car.
