In conjunction with Advertising Age's Best of 1998 competition, entries gathered by Ad Age licensees and affiliated marketing publications abroad also were judged against other entries from their respective countries.

The publications are: Revista Mercado (Argentina); Publicidad & Mercadeo (Colombia); Marketing Week (Greece); Marca (Guatemela); Media & Marketing Polska (Poland); and Briefing (Portugal). There were more entries from licensees than in any previous Best competition.

Here are the country-by-country winners in each media category, with the advertiser, entry and agency or other entrant cited.
