Founder of Martin Agency focuses on writing book

David Martin, founder of the Martin Agency, the Richmond, Va.-based agency now known as Arnold Finnegan Martin, has stepped down as of AFM chairman of the executive committee. In addition to consulting for Arnold Fortuna Lawner & Cabot, Boston, in a new business capacity, Mr. Martin, 65, is now writing a book, his second, on the topic of brand marketing. He is succeeded as executive committee chairman at AFM by Matt Smith, the agency's chief creative officer.
