Fox fall sked targets Tuesday

Published on .

Fox Broadcasting announced six new series for its fall schedule. Its big scheduling gambit is moving "King of the Hill" to Tuesdays at 8 p.m., opposite "Home Improvement"' and "Mad About You." Many media pundits had expected Fox to move the animated hit to Thursdays, but Fox hinted one of its mid-season shows may move there. Fox has three animated shows ordered for mid-season, and one, "Family Guy," created by 25-year-old newcomer Seth MacFarlane, looks like it could be a big hit. On Thursdays this fall, Fox will put returning show "World's Wildest Police Videos" and newcomer "Hollyweird" about three filmmakers who investigate murders.
