Fox has sold just 70% of World Series ad time

Fox Sports has sold only 70% of its ad time for the upcoming World Series. In contrast, next year's Super Bowl, also on Fox, is already sold out. "Baseball just hasn't regained the cachet or interest," said one media buyer. Advertisers who want to buy Fox's pre-Super Bowl show or prime time may be persuaded to package that buy with the World Series.
