The already widely lauded Fox Sports campaign by Cliff Freeman
& Partners, New York, picked up top honors last week from the American Advertising Federation, taking the Best of Show Electronic at the group's Addy Awards.
The Addy for Best of Show in Print went to Omnicom Group's Goodby Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco, for its Nike magazine campaign. A special judges' award for raising the standard in its category went to Via Design for its Jack in the Box annual report.
Goodby Silverstein also received a special judges' award for creative use of the medium for its Specialized.com magazine campaign for BMX 2001.
Overall, Cliff Freeman took the most Addys with 11, followed by Goodby Silverstein with seven. Bcom3 Group's Leo Burnett USA, Chicago, and Omnicom's BBDO Worldwide each received five awards.
