Free-PC, Pasadena, Calif., gave details of its charter advertiser program, tied to its shipment of 10,000 free PCs in May. The 90-day program is open to 200 advertisers, which will be able to test the effectiveness of ads displayed on the free desktop PCs. Free-PC is guaranteeing advertisers, which are under no obligation to advertise after the trial phase, 1 million impressions during the period. The trial charge is a flat rate of $10,000.
