At least 12 marketers will advertise on the first 10,000 PCs that Free-PC will ship to consumers during a test next month. They include: Amazon.com, Beyond.com, CarsDirect, Citibank, Cyberian Outpost, eBay, eNews, eToys, ISN/First Auction, KidsOnline, New Line Cinema and PCFlowers. Advertisers will reach Free-PC users through one or more desktop ads, including rotating, targeted banners as well as fixed, direct-access buttons that link to advertisers' Web sites. Free-PC gives consumers free computers in exchange for viewing advertising. It has guaranteed advertisers 1 million impressions during the test.
