PARIS--Little-known French information technology installation expert CCMX has decided to boost its brand visibility with a nationwide TV and print campaign by Omnicom Group-owned DDB & Co, Paris.

DDB & Co won the undisclosed budget earlier this year after a competition against the Paris shops of Publicis and Havas Advertising-owned W & Cie.

The campaign -- three 20-second TV spots and seven press ads around the signature slogan "The Future: Something that is not Refused" -- aims to convince small and medium-sized companies and mid-size accounting firms that information technology solutions and e-commerce applications need not be expensive or difficult to put in place.

CCMX, which reported French sales topping $125 million from the design, distribution, installation and maintenance of IT systems to these sectors in 1999, hopes the unprecedented campaign will boost business at its 27 branch offices nationwide.
