(June 8, 2001) -- Dimension Data Holdings, South Africa, announced it has been given a green light by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission for its purchase of Internet consulting company Proxicom. According to the company, the FTC granted early termination of the U.S. antitrust law waiting period on Tuesday. The offer, worth $376 million, was made in May. -- Adrienne Mand
