Full TV Guide available online

News Corp.'s TV Guide has started making the entire editorial content of the magazine available online at no cost, a switch from most major magazines, which have been striving to create unique content for online environments. The TV Guide Web site had previously offered only portions of the magazine, including the program listings.

Separately, TV Guide has formed a new business to provide comprehensive TV listings to newspapers and online services. TV Guide Resources will be based at the magazine's Radnor, Pa., headquarters. News Corp. has resisted getting into the listings provider business for years, letting other media companies, such as Tribune Co., develop strong franchises in the field.
