Future unclear for Daewoo agencies

Published on .

Korean carmaker Daewoo Motor America is centralizing its four U.S. regions under Los Angeles-based President M.H. Kim, who had been president of its West region. Still undecided, said executives close to Daewoo, is whether the marketer will keep its four regional ad agencies: Leap Partnership, Chicago; GroundZero, Santa Monica, Calif.; Tausche Martin Lonsdorf, Atlanta; and Korey Kay & Partners, New York. Mr. Kim is said to be studying Daewoo's delayed U.S. entry and ad strategy.
