GARTH BROOKS TO PLUG DR PEPPER

BOSTON (AdAge.com) -- Country music crooner Garth Brooks has signed on to be the new spokesman for Dr Pepper, the country's sixth most popular soft drink. Mr. Brooks will appear in two spots.

Dr Pepper is marketed by Cadbury Schweppes' Dr Pepper/Seven Up unit. WPP Group's Y&R Advertising, New York, is handling the account.
