Gay community fight for anti-hate TV ads

Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays will have pro bono representation by D.C. law firm Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft to ward off legal problems with the Christian Broadcasting Network. in an ongoing battle for it to place anti-hate TV ads containing clips of Rev. Pat Robertson. PFLAG said it lost its last network station, Fox affiliate WTTG in D.C., carrying the spot due to intimidation from CBN. PFLAG plans another print ad in USA Today Dec. 20 and has selected five new markets in the Northeast and Southeast for a second TV flight attempt in February.
