GeePS.com, NJO to provide wireless information to users

GeePS.com, a location-based wireless technology developer, announced a deal with Advance Internet, a developer of community-based news and information sites created in alliance with Advance Publications newspapers, to deliver targeted, local shopping information and news to wireless devices through a mobile version of New Jersey Online. Starting in July, New Jersey residents will be able to access local news headlines, weather forcasts, sports scores and stock quotes for free on their Internet-enabled wireless devices. Financial terms were not disclosed.
