Gerber spot contests nutrition allegations

Gerber Products Co. will break a national TV spot Monday combating charges by the Center for Science in the Public Interest that its baby food products are less nutritional than stated in the marketer's ads. The spot, supported by ads in major newspapers Feb. 23 via Noble & Associates, Chicago, says, "Gerber sets the record straight on nutrition."
