German agency spins off new media shop

Mediahaus Stroebel in Duesseldorf, Germany, has established an international interactive agency. Part of the CIA media network, the company has drafted in 23 experts in international online communication, covering areas such as video, music and marketing, and grouped them under the IQ Interactive Quality brand. IQ, whose first-year gross income is expected to reach $1.9 million, is already working for General Motors Corp. and Saab Automobile AB. GM/Opel is planning a new campaign on the Internet in time for the International Automobile Fair (IAA) which takes place in September. And IQ has teamed up with ad agency Werk 2 to create a new online promotion for Saab, featuring its new model, Saab 9-5.
