Germany to ban cell phone use on roads

BONN, GERMANY - The German Traffic Ministry here plans to forbid the use of mobile phones by car drivers, motorcyclists and cyclists from the beginning of next year. According to the Auto Club Europe, use of a mobile phone will not even be allowed when traffic is stationary, such as at red lights or in traffic jams. The law has yet to be finalized.
