NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Jackie Ghedine has been named associate publisher of Advertising Age.
Ms. Ghedine was previously managing director-sales. She joined Advertising Age in a sales position in February 2003, handling publishing and TV accounts. Prior to joining Advertising Age, Jackie worked at Hoyt Publishing Company for publications focused on in-store marketing and the importance of the retailer/marketer relationship. Throughout her tenure at Hoyt Publishing, she held the positions of associate publisher of POP Times and then publisher of POP Design.
From her role in sales, Ms. Ghedine moved into the national sales manager position at Advertising Age and continued to ascend on the sales-management side. As the managing director-sales, she was responsible for developing and implementing strategy to successfully drive revenue and grow business units throughout the Ad Age brand. Since joining the management team, she has worked to change the way the sales organization operates.
"I am thrilled to name Jackie to this role," said VP-Publisher Allison Arden. "At a time in our business when we are charting out the future while delivering on the present, Jackie's extraordinary sales acumen and leadership have been essential in our success. As we expand all the ways we serve the industry, it was critical to build out our management framework. Jackie's energy and passion are infectious both internally & externally. She is key to our continued growth moving forward."
