Giles chairs Traffic Audit Bureau

Helen A. Giles was named chairman of the Traffic Audit Bureau, succeeding Chris Gagen, who becomes chairman emeritus. Ms. Giles is VP-manager, local market media, at Campbell-Ewald, Warren, Mich. The announcement was made at the bureau's 1999 annual conference in Boca Raton, Fla., New appointments also included: Ed Maher, sales manager, Salepoint Posters, to executive committee; John Miller, senior VP-out-of-home/local print, Media Edge, to vice chairman, agencies; Karl Eller, chairman-CEO, Eller Media, to chairman, plants; and Sam Sotiriou, exec VP-media research director, Ammirati Puris Lintas, to secretary-treasurer.
