[chicago] The Ad Age Group has appointed Paul G. Gillen to the new post of Midwest district manager.

Working out of the Ad Age Group's office here, Mr. Gillen will oversee all Midwestern sales for the Ad Age Group and inside sales.

"The continued growth of the Ad Age Group enables us to bring additional talent and expertise to our staff," said Jill Manee, associate publisher-ad director of the Ad Age Group. "Paul's addition to our growing Midwest office, as district manager, will enable us to continue this expansion for all our products."

Mr. Gillen has more than 15 years of sales and management experience in the publishing industry. Before joining the Ad Age Group, he was Midwest sales manager for Lebhar-Friedman's National Home Center News. He also has been a publisher at Gruner & Jahr USA Publishing and director of sales at Cahners Publishing Co.
