Published on .

TORONTO--The Interpublic Group of New York has added another Canadian agency to its roster with the acquisition of Toronto's Gingko Group.

Gingko will continue to operate independently but will be part of DraftWorldwide of Chicago, a unit of the New York agency giant. Gingko will also continue to operate a 100% Canadian arm called Gingko Group Canada to service federal government accounts like Industry Canada.

Gingko Group is the 29th largest agency in Canada with gross revenues of over $5 million.

DraftWorldwide has 44 offices in 26 countries and will offer Gingko access to research methods, database management capabilities and a contest management arm that helps set up rules and prizing for contests and sweepstakes.
