Published on .

Galaxy Latin America, the direct-to-home pay TV platform owned by Hughes, Mexico's MVS Multivision, Venezuela's Cisneros Group and Televisao Abril of Brazil, says it will "immediately" begin broadcasting in Mexico following a reciprocal satellite transmission accord between the U.S. and Mexico. In Mexico, GLA will distribute its service through its local unit, Grupo Galaxy de Mexico. The company currently broadcasts and markets its service in Brazil and Venezuela.
