Glascott joins Hearst

In her first major move on the corporate marketing front, Cathleen Black, new president of Hearst Magazines, Tuesday named John W. Glascott senior VP of corporate marketing and sales for the Hearst division. Formerly publisher of SmartHealth, Meigher Communications' custom health publishing unit, Mr. Glascott succeeds Mark Goldschmidt, who moves to the new post of senior VP-advertising and marketing for Hearst Magazines International.
