GLAXO LAUNCHES $20 ANTI-SMOKING PRODUCTS CAMPAIGN

TV Ads by Arnold Worldwide Focus on Nicorette, NicoDerm

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare has launched a $20 million campaign for over-the-counter stop-smoking products, including Nicorette gum and the NicoDerm patch, according to the company.

The TV ads, from Havas' Arnold Worldwide, New York, feature the tagline "Always be there."

One spot shows a smoker as the ad's voice-over cautions that parents may not always be able to be there, alluding to the health risks associated with smoking.
