Published on .

Bayer AG subsidiary Agfa Group, Leverkusen, Germany, is reviewing its estimated $30 million global advertising account, currently shared by McCann-Erickson Worldwide, Frankfurt, and Scholz & Friends, Hamburg. In addition to the incumbents, Agfa is asking Grey Advertising, DDB Needham Worldwide and Hamburg-based Springer & Jacoby to pitch. In the U.S., Agfa is spending just over $1 million on media. Bayer next year plans to sell in Germany up to 75% of Agfa's stock.
