GM sponsors PBS program

General Motors Corp., Detroit, signed to be the major underwriter for "Frank Lloyd Wright," a new film by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick that airs on PBS Nov. 10 and 11. GM corporate agency N.W. Ayer & Partners, Detroit, is overseeing the program, which includes a national student design competition. Ayer is working with LearningWorks, New Haven, Conn., on educational guides for teachers of grades six to eight. Spending was not disclosed.
