GM widens California program

General Motors Corp. is stepping up its California marketing initiative, applying value pricing to 89 models for the upcoming 1996 model year, up from a current 70. The program involves selling cars with popular options packaged at discounts. D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, Los Angeles, handles advertising for the initiative.
