Go2Net to invest in e-mail software company

Go2Net, a network of financial and community Web sites is partnering with investment company Vulcan Ventures to invest $20 million in cash in CommTouch Software, a provider of Web-based e-mail services. The transaction are contingent upon the closing of CommTouch's initial public offering. Under the pending agreement CommTouch would create free e-mail services for enhanced e-mail and related services for the Go2Net Network.
