Go2Net issues redesign, announces earnings

Go2Net, which runs technology and community-driven Web sites, has redesigned its free business hosting service, HyperMart. The redesign includes additional features and services for HyperMart's members. Go2Net also introduced a new customer support program. The site now includes more than 185,000 small and medium-size businesses.

Go2Net also announced a two-for-one stock split and profitable second quarter earnings. Revenue for the first quarter ended March 31 was $4.3 million, an 180% increase over the same period in the previous fiscal year. Go2Net also reported income of $1.1 million, compared with a loss of $193,861 for the same fiscal quarter a year ago.
