CHICAGO-Lisa Goff has joined the Advertising Age staff as Washington editor, Editor Steve Yahn announced.

Ms. Goff, 36, will coordinate 1996 political coverage and other federal government-related news.

"Lisa's wide range of business journalism assignments and accomplishments, from international editor of Crain's Chicago Business to award-winning reporter, perfectly suit her to help us keep tabs on advertising and marketing developments from the nation's capital," said Mr. Yahn. "We look forward to her becoming a key member of our editorial team."

A South Carolina native, Ms. Goff graduated from the College of William and Mary in Virginia with a bachelor of arts degree in 1980 and received a masters in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism in 1984.
