SAN FRANCISCO-Goodbye, Berlin.

Goodby, Silverstein & Partners is the new name for what was Goodby, Berlin & Silverstein.

Co-founder Andy Berlin left the agency in 1992 to head DDB Needham Worldwide's New York office and later set up a new agency, Berlin Wright Cameron, to handle DDB Needham's Volks-wagen business.

"It better reflects the way the company really runs," Co-Creative Director Jeff Goodby said of the name change. But the real reason, he joked, was that Rich Silverstein got tired of having his name last.
