Greenfield, Cognitiative partner to study online shoppers

What online shoppers did during this holiday shopping season is the focus of the first online customer behavior study to be parsed by a partnership between Greenfield Online, an Internet-based marketing research firm in Wilton, Conn., and Cognitiative, a San Francisco-based management and marketing strategies consulting firm. The two companies will issue quarterly studies of online consumer behavior, the first a post-holiday survey that will focus on the consumer online shopping experience during Holiday 2000. The Greenfield/Cognitiative partnership will enable the study samples to be expanded to cover a larger group of U.S. Internet users and a broader range of topics.
