Grey Advertising, New York, said it is closing G2
, the Huntington Beach, Calif.-based unit that exclusively services Grey client Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America. It said it would try to reassign its 39 staff members elsewhere in the company. Mitsubishi this month notified Grey it plans to review its $75 million to $90 million contract with the agency when it expires this October. , New York, and Marina del Rey, Calif. A Mitsubishi spokesman said he wasn't aware of G2's closing and wouldn't say if Mitsubishi is preparing to end its ties to Grey.
