Group seeks presidential debate--in print

Published on .

The Committee for More Informative Presidential Debates is asking the top 100 newspapers and magazines in the U.S. to hold a national print debate for the major 1996 presidential candidates. Costs could be donated by the media or underwritten by corporate sponsors, the San Francisco-based organization suggested.
