Groupe Danone shifts execs

Patrick Gournay, 49, has moved to senior VP-North and South America, for Groupe Danone, from president-CEO of Tarrytown, N.Y.-based Dannon Co. He succeeds Claude LeGouis, who retired. In his new post, Mr. Gournay will coordinate Groupe Danone's dairy product and mineral water sales in Canada, the U.S., Mexico and Latin America. At Dannon Co., Mr. Gournay is succeeded by Antonio Spagnolo, 45, former CEO of Danone Italy.
